The National Trust for Scotland's Torridon Campsite occupies one of the most dramatic mountain settings in Britain. Set beneath the ancient Torridonian sandstone peaks of Beinn Eighe, Liathach and Beinn Alligin β mountains formed from some of the oldest rock on Earth, over 750 million years old β the campsite offers simple, affordable pitching in extraordinary surroundings. The NTS visitor centre and Countryside Centre are nearby, with excellent ranger-led walks and wildlife information. Red and roe deer are frequently seen around the campsite.
This site operates on a first-come, first-served basis β no booking required. Arrive by early afternoon in peak season to secure a pitch.
