Tongue's small campsite sits in the village above the Kyle of Tongue with views toward Ben Hope and Ben Loyal. It's a peaceful, simple site and the perfect base for exploring the spectacular north coast between Durness and Bettyhill. The Kyle of Tongue causeway offers one of the finest mountain views in Scotland. Ben Hope (Scotland's most northerly Munro) is a challenging but achievable day walk from Tongue. The village has a fuel station, hotel and small shop.
