Motorhome Hire FAQ

What's included in the hire?

The motorhome comes fully equipped with bedding, kitchen utensils, crockery, gas for cooking, a full tank of fresh water, and a comprehensive NC500 guide. Insurance and roadside assistance are included.

Do I need a special licence?

No special licence is required. A standard UK driving licence (or EU/international equivalent) is sufficient. You must be over 25 years old and have held your licence for at least 2 years.

Where do I pick up?

Collection and return is from Inverness — the perfect start/end point for the NC500 route. We'll provide detailed directions and a full handover walk-through.

How long should I book for?

We recommend a minimum of 5-7 days to properly enjoy the NC500. You can rush it in 3-4 days, but you'll miss a lot. 7-10 days is ideal for a relaxed trip.

What about insurance?

All bookings include comprehensive insurance coverage. This covers the vehicle, third-party liability, and provides 24/7 roadside assistance throughout your trip.

Can I bring my dog?

Please ask when making your enquiry. Many of the NC500 attractions and beaches are dog-friendly, making it a great trip for four-legged family members too!
