About Stannergill Distillery
Stannergill Distillery is a small craft gin producer based in Thurso, adding to the growing cluster of artisan spirits operations in Caithness. Using locally sourced botanicals including heather, bog myrtle and coastal plants from the Caithness landscape, Stannergill produces gins with a distinctively northern Highland character. The distillery operates on a very small scale, which means each batch is genuinely limited and the tours are intimate and personal. Based in Thurso โ the most northerly town on the mainland โ it sits at the centre of an increasingly exciting local craft drinks scene alongside Wolfburn and Dunnet Bay.
